Love & Other Drugs 2020

Don't get it twisted, love is a beautiful thing. Its beauty, however is elusive to many in our generation. Then adding marriage into that mix ummm, definitely a delicacy so rare you'd be forgiven to miss it altogether.

2020 will forever be remembered as the year Corona virus (and now Hanta virus) made China the notorious international virus dealer and the year women publicized their cheating. Some of it ended tragically (read Mai Prince) and this could scar one's vision of a happily ever after.

2020 is the year I declared I'll finally settle down (I don't like how that "settle" part comes off as). This is the year I'll put a ring on it, I heard you well Queen Bey. While some may wives as baby-making maids I view them as something more. In case you hadn't noticed I'm a happy guy. Humor, wit and banter is my fort (if I do say so myself) and I want to be with someone that firstly is my bestie (If your dude isn't your bestie you are playing with fire, trust me!), a confidante I can undress my emotions to (a lapdance may or may not be included).

Above all I value intimacy and intelligence. I can't handle "blonde" conversation (don't get me started on shorthand). Does that make me picky? Obviously, this is the woman I'm supposed to spend the rest of my earthly existence with. By intimacy I mean beyond the physical kind. The type were no words need to said and actions speak on their own. The kind where if she's not okay I'm not okay and vice versa. An attraction so intense it seemingly creates its own magnetic field. That's what I want.

Quite some qualifications, right? Might as well add the added advantage points. So yeah, natural hair has to be a given. Not a fan of beweavement (if that's your thing more power to you). Long or short I'm all for it. It does the things, yeah. Minimal to no makeup also is a plus in my book. There's something about a fresh-faced woman...

I like love and hopefully love will like me back in 2020 (and that marital status part will change).
